December 24th was never this fun! Queer-centered, all genders, allies welcome.
What else could there be to do on December 24th but celebrate the miracle of Hanukkah with your LGBTQ+ community at the EJC? Bring your hanukiah's and candles for a community candle lighting led by Rabbi Ariel Stone and stay for her annual reading of the Talmudic Classic The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming by Lemony Snicket. Enjoy the community teaching/dancing of the Hanukkah story presented by Caryn Shebowich and Wendy Abram and then...dance the night away in our atrium! Oh and how could we forget? We'll have delicious food and drink for sale: Chinese dumplings to nosh on, beer, wine and a signature Hanukkah vodka beverage! This is a 21+ event. $5-18 sliding scale admission.
