The Eastside Jewish Commons is proud to present a screening of Portlander Eric Slade’s acclaimed documentary, “Rothko: Pictures Must be Miraculous” on November 10 at 7:30.

 One of the most influential artists of the 20thcentury, Portland native Mark Rothko’s signature style helped define Abstract Expressionism, the movement that shifted the center of the art world from Paris to New York.  

Director Eric Slade will be in attendance and will also share his Oregon ArtBeat profile of local ocularist, Fred Harwin.
