EJC & JFCS present a Crafty Apple Rosh Hashanah

Looking for a way your whole family can celebrate and create meaning for the High Holidays? The Eastside Jewish Commons and Jewish Family & Child Service welcome you to an informal Rosh Hashanah gathering, an afternoon of crafts, movement and reflection, all to get in the holiday’s spirit of community and reflection.

We will have a rotation of activities, including art, body movement and something for the family to engage in together. JFCS concludes the event with a joint parent/child guided project that will result in a family brit (covenant) to help set intentions for the year ahead. And of course, there also will be apples for dipping in honey and eating, because Rosh Hashanah prep is incomplete without them!

This event is for families whose children are between ages 2 and 10.
