Let’s build community while we hike together on a classic trail close to Portland! Join EJC stakeholder Steve Carples for a hike through the leaves and fall colors on the Cape Horn trail. Steve has been a hike leader for Friends of the Columbia Gorge for three years, and has Wilderness First Aid certification. Vaccination is required to participate.

 As a group, we will enjoy each others company as we hike about 4.5 miles (round trip) with  about 1000 feet of elevation gain. At the midpoint, we will enjoy our lunches and an expansive view of the Gorge looking east from the Nancy Russell overlook. Please note that this is not a dog-friendly hike, so please make other arrangements for your furry companions.
