Once again Sarah Stein will present an hour of Jewish stories! Stein says "If you enjoyed my first "Laughter and Tears" storytelling show, you will also enjoy my new show “Laughter and Tears Encore”. There will be lots of new and exciting stories from Chelm, King Solomon and a longer tale of a trickster and a miserlus many more stories from the wealth of Jewish folklore. There will also be music between the stories."
 
Sarah is a professional storyteller and founder of the Portland Storytellers Guild. She was born in New York City in 1944. Many years later she worked as a Children’s Librarian in Portland and that is where she discovered her love for storytelling. Sarah has been telling stories for over 40 years. She has performed in Portland, Seattle, New York City and Germany, where she lived for several years. As a native New Yorker, she loves telling Jewish stories filled with irony and the special Jewish sense of humor.
