Queer Jewish Song Circle - with Rena Branson

In the prayer room

Take a break from Passover prep and join special guest Rena Branson, founder of A Queer Nigun Project, for this queer Jewish song circle!

Rena is a Jewish composer, ritual leader, and educator who uplifts personal and collective healing through song. This song circle will be held in the sanctuary of the Eastside Jewish Commons, please bring proof of vaccination, which will be checked at the door.

Suggested donation $0-18+, with no one turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds support this queer Jewish artist who is producing their first album, “Love Is the Ground,” in collaboration with a team of Jewish/LGBTQIA+/BIPOC artists in Lenapehoking, Philadelphia. This album is about cultivating a sense of home in the cosmos, in community, in our bodies; about hungrily pursuing transformation; and about resting in the present as we are, in our enoughness. It is an offering to the movements and people who have shaped my sense of what ahava raba (abundant love) can look like.
